Do you use green cleaners?


Yes, if that is your preference. We are always exploring new cleaning tools and techniques to make our cleaning methods as green as possible. It is better for you and the environment.




Do you always send 2 cleaners?


Yes. The cost of the cleaning is for 2 cleaners and their supplies. Sending 2 cleaners is safer for them, as it is for you. We may send a solo cleaner to longterm, regular customers. In addition, there are times when we will send 3 cleaners for training purposes.




Do you provide service on the weekends or evenings?


No. Mighty Maids is closed on the weekends, and we start our last cleaning of the day no later than 1:30pm.




Do I have to be home while my house is getting cleaned?


Most of our customers are not home while we clean. The majority provide a key or code so we can gain entrance into their home. The cleaners only have access to keys or codes on the day of service. Keys are locked up securely in the office when not needed.




How do I pay for the cleaning?


Payment is expected at the end of the cleaning. Cash, check or credit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover) are accepted methods of payment.




What about my pet(s)?


The majority of our current customer's have pets, as does the Mighty Maids staff. Thus, we have a lot of experience with dogs & cats and are quite adept at dealing with them.




How much is this going to cost?


We're just going to be honest here. Since every house is unique coming up with an exact price is a bit of a challenge. Your cost is largely dependent upon the number of rooms you want cleaned, how much buildup of dust and grime is present in those rooms, and how much clutter is present. In large part, you are paying for the cleaners time. The more items they need to move to clean a surface, or if there is a good amount of soap scum built up in the shower, the longer it is going to take. There is no magic cleaner available. To get a home clean, it takes mostly pure elbow grease.




Where does Mighty Maids provide service?


Mighty Maids cleans from West Seattle to North Tacoma and from Maple Valley to the Puget Sound. Cities we provide service in are: Federal Way, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila, White Center, West & SouthSeattle, Newport Hills, Renton, Kent, Maple Valley, Covington, Auburn, Algona, Pacific.

Payments Accepted

Full payment is expected at the end of your cleaning. Cash, check or credit card (Visa, Master Card & Discover) are accepted. 

Cancellation Policy

 We require a minimum of 48 hours notice. If we receive less than a 24 hour notice, or if upon arrival we cannot enter your home, it will be necessary to assess a $35.00 fee to cover the revenue loss and/or expenses. If you suspend your cleanings for more than two subsequent visits, a “First-In” charge may be necessary. If it is necessary to skip a scheduled cleaning there may be up to a 25% charge of your cleaning fee added to your next cleaning fee. 

Satisfaction Guarantee

We guarantee our services to be of good quality or we will come back and correct the problem if we are notified within 2 days after the cleaning.
